Professor Reinoso has a vast trajectory within the Universidad de Concepción. Before joining the Faculty of Engineering, he was an academic in the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Mathematics. His deals with the activities of teaching, research, and training in a variety of areas of operations research, focusing on the lines of optimization and applDII statistics. In the optimization line, his main interest has been the application of relaxation techniques and Lagrangian decomposition to integer programming problems.
In the DII, Professor Reinoso participates as an academic in the Master’s in Industrial Engineering and the Master’s in Industrial Management. He also participates in the Master’s in Ergonomics, Master’s in Policy and Government, and Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
He has carrDII out training and offered technical assistance to companies such as CAP, Inchalam, CMPC Laja, and Celulosa Arauco. He has also been an examiner for the National Prize for Quality awarded by the Chilean Government.
